Heres todays Marketing Quickies tip from Andrew Fox.
I think Andrew has lost his marbles – he’s
comparing houses, Ferrari’s and sales
copy!
Andrew asked me “If I was to say to you,
you’ve won a Ferrari you most likely would
be very excited, ok so I don’t need marketing
quickies to figure that one out!
However he said “If I also told you today you
the bank had called and cancelled your
mortgage and you were going to lose your
home” you would probably be devastated.
Again another no brainer not requiring
marketing quickies!
However, Andrew was trying to illustrate to me
one clear point, BUT very powerful point.
The power of gain may create a powerful emotion
inside a human being, BUT the fear of loss is a much
more powerful emotion.
He then took this method and integrated it into
his sales letters – he actually told people they
would be LOSING out if they didn’t buy his
product. As a result the conversion rates on the
website rocketed. Ok so now I do need
marketing quickies, lol.
