We should start by defining article marketing. They will also contain contact and reference information about the author. When distributed freely, a well-written article with good information will draw new customers and augment the authoras standing in the marketplace.

Bloggers, Corporations, Individuals, Web Shops, and many others participate in Article Marketing. In order to really go in depth on who does Article Marketing then the answer would be the smart entrepreneur. The smart business person understands that you must get your name or product out there to as many people in the demographic (Or outside) as possible.

We can take a closer look at yahoo.com. Yahoo is prime example of article marketing. There are articles to read about products or news clips. When you click the link there are advertising balloons and if you even look closer, the actual article is an advertisement. There is always something to sell.

With the world wide web they can place articles about their company, their employees, or the properties they are selling and reach a mass market. The ability to saturate many different message boards and web pages with links from advertisements are a great utility.

One of the newest rages in the past few years are bloggers. You can use the game World of Warcraft as an example. The video game has a huge fan base because it is basically an evolving virtual world. The game never ends and continues. The fans are very loyal and there are many fan sites out there to help with tips in the game.

The genius of this is that Blizzard who produces the game gets free advertisement, links to their sight and self promotion from dedicated fans who blog about the game. Think about, instead of spending money on marketing everything themselves, they have their dedicated fan base do it for free. This is an ultimate example of successful Article Marketing.

Who else does Article Marketing? Dell does Article Marketing. You cannot surf on the Internet these days without coming across an article or a text link to one of Dellas computer deals. Each of these articles is an example of great marketing.

Who is an Article Marketer? Once again the best answer to that question is smart business people. In this day and age, your business is nothing if your name is not well known. Get your name out there on a few well-written articles and just watch your sales grow.
