The Big Secret Of Traffic Generation
Despite my best efforts, and buying just about every home study course on website marketing and traffic generation, I found myself suffering from failure time and time again. I just could not seem to get the amazing results that all the gurus appeared to achieve. I often wondered what they were really doing that I wasn’t.
I often hoped that these “experts” would truly reveal their real secrets and methods that were bringing their success to a little guy like me. I soon started to think that just wouldn’t happen. of course, sometimes they will reveal “snippets” of information – but I’m sure the really juicy stuff is kept to themselves. In other words the big traffic generation secrets remain secrets.
The techniques that are revealed by the “gurus” often come with some serious problems.
Take the pay-per-click method of traffic generation for example. With pay-per-click programs, you can indeed attract traffic to your site that is of a high quality. However, the downside is of course you could be paying a lot of money for those visitors. Natually, no-one can absolutely guarantee that these clicks will convert to sales. There is always a danger that owners of competitive sites will just click on your ads until your budget has been spent.
As for search engine optimization – agreed that you can do a basic level of SEO on your website on your own, without having to pay “professionals” for it, but, it requires a lot of hard work and grind – with all that keyword research, analysis and implementation!
Article writing is similar to SEO. You either need to spend a long time and a great deal of effort to write your articles – especially if you lack the creative ability. Or once again, you end up spending money to have your articles written for you.
Surely, there must be a better way of traffic generation than these! As a matter of fact, there is!
Here is the method I’ve found to be most effective – especially when I was new to this. Be sure to find others who have large lists of customers that are willing to promote your product. Offer a joint venture with a generous cut of your profits in return for a mail out to their list and you will find many will accept the challenge.
Initially, it can be a bit difficult to convince them, but use a “scatter gun” approach. Contact as many people as you can; it costs nothing to do that, and they in turn don’t have to spend a penny to send an email to their list, promoting your products.
Cultivating joint venture partners was the one method that was never really offered by the “gurus” very often when they were selling their home study courses. However, I have found it to be the best free method for generating traffic to your site. It was the one big secret I needed to know and use. Now you can do the same too!
