<p>I think Andrew has lost his marbles &#8211; he&#8217;s<br />
comparing houses, Ferrari&#8217;s and sales<br />
copy!</p>
<p>Andrew asked me &#8220;If I was to say to you,<br />
you&#8217;ve won a Ferrari you most likely would<br />
be very excited, ok so I don&#8217;t need marketing<br />
quickies to figure that one out!</p>
<p>However he said &#8220;If I also told you today you<br />
the bank had called and cancelled your<br />
mortgage and you were going to lose your<br />
home&#8221; you would probably be devastated.<br />
Again another no brainer not requiring<br />
marketing quickies!</p>
<p>However, Andrew was trying to illustrate to me<br />
one clear point, BUT very powerful point.</p>
<p>The power of gain may create a powerful emotion<br />
inside a human being, BUT the fear of loss is a much<br />
more powerful emotion.</p>
<p>He then took this method and integrated it into<br />
his sales letters &#8211; he actually told people they<br />
would be LOSING out if they didn&#8217;t buy his<br />
product.Â  As a result the conversion rates on the<br />
website rocketed. Ok so now I do need<br />
marketing quickies, lol.</p>
